We honour the history, heritage and diversity of Indigenous peoples in Canada and we recognize the strength of present-day Indigenous communities. We celebrate the achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We commit to deeper understanding of Indigenous perspectives and understand that in reciting a land acknowledgement each day, we are committing to participate in the process of reconciliation.
