We celebrate the many contributions of Black Canadians and Black communities throughout the world who, throughout history, have done so much to make Canada the culturally diverse and prosperous country we know today. We recognize ongoing struggles for equality and understand we all have a roll to play when it comes to learning from others' lived experiences and using that knowledge to create spaces that truly offer recognition, safety and access to opportunity.
