The first believers in the book of Acts gathered in homes to pray together, study together, eat together and to fellowship with each other. This practice made the church strong and made each believer a vital part of the Kingdom of God on Earth.
Today the church meets in buildings which makes it harder to have the close knit relationships the early church had. Pleasant Dale is committed to taking people from the crowd to the classroom and living room. Only in smaller settings do people begin to fellowship on a deeper level and feel like they are a part of the church as a whole.
The information provided below is a list of Life Groups, we call Sunday School and Small Groups. No matter what they are called, each gathering whether in a classroom or in someone's living room are all an attempt to get people meeting together like the early church did to pray together, study together and fellowship together.
If you have been coming to worship at Pleasant Dale, would you consider joining one of these Life Groups staring in January? What a great time to start something new! Why not make a decision now to become more involved with us at Pleasant Dale this upcoming year.
See you Sunday morning at 8:30,
Rick Hunter, Minister of Missions and Education
