What is Canvas?

Canvas is a Learning Management Platform (LMS) or software app based virtual classroom. This platform enables students to view their courses, assignments, class discussion boards, quizzes, tests, grades, collaboration documents, and quickly access their Google Drive.

When logged into Chrome, students log  into Canvas through Google Apps Launcher (Waffle) on Chromebooks, Windows, and Mac computers at the top right corner of the browser window next to the student's profile picture.  On iPads, the login is different. Please see info below for more information on how to login with each device.

How will I get a pairing code to access Canvas as a parent/guardian?

For step-by-step directions to get a pairing code: bit.ly/pccscode

You can either have your student generate a "pairing code" for you, or for younger students, you will need to assist them with this process. This only needs to be done once for each Observer.  A child can have up to five observers.

Please submit a Support Ticket if you are unable to follow this process.
