The smell of fresh air, the sounds of the waves laughing coming from those you love. Those are the distant memories of having seen some of the beautiful beaches in Kenya. In Kenya, there are four beaches. Out of the four beaches, the one named Nyali is my favorite. The first reason it’s my favorite is because it's a great place to spend time with your family. I used to go on long walks with my family. After long walks, we would buy coconuts and drink them as we watched the sunset. We also had barbecue dinners on the beach. The second reason is that Nyali Beach is multifunctional, because if I wasn’t at the beach with my family, I’d be with my friends. We would play soccer with strangers on the beach and go swimming for hours. Also, Nyali Beach is quiet and good for meditation in the morning. We would end our days with a ride back home on a tuk tuk. Finally, Nyali Beach is perfect for so many special occasions, like riding camels or taking a trip on a boat. Many people hold their weddings and have parties on the beach. People rent out jet skis or decide to go fishing in the ocean. The options at Nyali Beach are endless. That is why I love Nyali Beach.

The Carpathians are one of the largest mountain systems in Europe, with rich nature, fun activities, cultural history, and delicious food. Since childhood, almost every year I have traveled to the northern part of the Eastern Carpathians in Ukraine. I'm in love with this place. It’s good for your mental and physical health. There, you can go hiking and take a tent with you. Also, you can take a bike-tour and a rafting trip. In winter, the Carpathians are beautiful too. There is the biggest ski resort in Europe named “Bukovel.” It’s around 60 km of ski roads or 63 ski tracks. But, the Carpathians are not only about mountains. It’s also a big nature reserve where brown bears, wolves, beavers, ermines, red deer, lynx, otters, and one interesting fire salamander live. Finally, the Carpathians have an interesting culture and really good food. The ethnographic group of Ukrainian Hutsuls lives in this place. Some used to call them pagans. But it’s not the same. They wear beautiful, bright clothes and wreaths of fresh flowers. They do a lot of arts, like sculpture, ceramics, and wood carving. Also, Hutsuls are very good dancers. They have their own style. They cook delicious food. I really like Carpathian food because it’s unique. There you can try the unique Carpathian cheese, “Bryndza.” There are a lot of shepherds who make this cheese. The area is also famous for “Banosh,” a dish that has been cooked there for over 100 years, and Bryndza cheese is an ingredient in the Banosh recipe. The Ukrainian Carpathians are the only place in the world where you can try this dish. It’s my favorite. So, it’s just a couple of interesting facts about the Ukrainian Carpathians. You need to see it with your own eyes and feel the emotions. And you will fall in love with this place too.

Imari City is a fascinating place in southern Japan. A lot of people are aware of Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hokkaido. I assume it’s because these are big cities, and many people associate Japan with these cities. My city, Imari, is not known by many people. However, Imari is a wonderful city, and you can have an enjoyable experience there.
First, Imari is most notable for ceramics. Imari ceramics began 400 years ago. It has a long history as a ceramic city. A lot of Imari ceramics were sent to European and Asian countries from the Imari River. Around Imari city, there is a lot of ceramic art, big pots, and ceramic tiles. You can walk around the city to see art. Likewise, Okawachiyama village is a gathering of ceramic shops. You can go shopping and make your own pottery and paint it as well.
Next, Imari is surrounded by mountains and the sea. Therefore, you can try nature activities in Imari. You can hike some mountains, and you can do marine activities. I used to go hiking and picnicking during the spring and autumn. Also, I used to SUP, jet-ski, swim, and hang out on the beach in the summer. My favorite and most recommended thing is spending time at Imari Beach at sunset. Even the famous Japanese film director Akira Kurosawa was impressed by the sunset at Imari Beach.
Finally, Imari has various types of delicious food. When I go traveling, I usually check what kind of food is famous there. Imari has tons of delicious food. There is an amazing environment to grow animals, vegetables, and fruits. The most special foods in Imari are pears, grapes, strawberries, cucumbers, and paprika. If you make a reservation, you can u-pick as well. Also, you must try Imari beef, because Imari beef is famous in Japan. Imari beef's taste is mild and soft. Sometimes I miss this kind of meat here.
In conclusion, Imari has fascinating art, beautiful nature, and delicious food. Imari is a good destination to visit.
