To use Navigate, you need to:
Be admitted to PCC as a credit student (need to do that? click here)
Have setup your MyPCC password (need to do that? click here)
Download the app (or see below how to log in with a computer)
You can use EAB Navigate Student on a computer
Log into MyPCC
Scroll down to PCC Sites on the left side
Click on “EAB Navigate”
Click one of the buttons below to go to the Apple or Android app store.
The first time you log in, you'll need to choose "Portland Community College" and then log in with your MyPCC login and password.
Stuff you can do in Navigate Student:
Expand the sections below to quickly learn how to use some of Navigate Student's functions
Open the Navigate Student app either through the mobile app or through MyPCC (see steps above)
Select “Appointments”
Select “Schedule an Appointment”
Other Options - “Meet With Your Success Team”
Select your advisor’s name to schedule an appointment with your assigned advisor
Don't see your advisor's name? You have not yet been assigned an advisor. Please refer to www.pcc.edu/advising to get in touch with an advisor.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You must be logged in to Navigate Student from a laptop or desktop computer in MyPCC to use Academic Planner.
You should work with your academic advisor to understand your degree requirements.
Be aware that you can plan courses that aren't being offered in an upcoming term.

You can plan courses for each term:
Click "Planner" at the top
On the right side, click the "three lines" icon (sometimes called the hamburger icon)
Choose "Add a term"
You can add courses one by one, on the left click "Course Catalog"
Click "Search for Courses"
You can plan courses that you need for a certain program or transfer major:
Instead of step 4 above, follow these steps:
Choose "+ Add templates"
Search for a program or transfer major that you're interested in
When you've found one, click the "+ Add to My Templates"
On the left, click "View Selected Templates"
Expand each group to see the courses listed
Click the "hamburger" icon
You can choose which term to place the course under
In a few steps you can be set up to receive appointment reminders and get notifications when your assigned advisor tries to make contact with you using Navigate.
Click the "Account" icon
Click "Notification Settings"
We recommend allowing email for the Academic Planner
If you want to receive text notifications, you'll need to click "Edit" to add your number. Text notifications are handy to get updates from your academic advisor, if you have one assigned to you.
What does each one do?
To-Dos and Events: You can choose how you want to receive important news about registration times, deadlines, or reminders from your assigned advisor. Leaving this turned off means to you do not receive any reminders.
Personal To-Dos: These are the reminders you set up in this app. You can choose how you receive these reminders.
Academic Planner: You can receive notifications when your assigned advisor creates/updates/ a plan for your goals.
Surveys: Choose to receive text notifications about surveys from your advisor or your school.
Study Buddies is a way to find other students in your class who would like to study together.
First, you must be registered for a class.
Click on "Study Buddy"
Then choose a class that you would like to form a study group with.
When other students join the group, you can connect with them.
