There is one thing the photograph must contain: The humanity of the moment
-Robert Frank
Capturing a picture of yourself... by yourself... is something that is easier said than done.
going for an eerie yet dreamy library vibe
my immediate thought was concert roadie
The one thing that pops into my head when I think of self portraits is trial and error.
I set my camera up to be on a timer, then I would hit the button, run to place, pose, and hope for the best. Often times I would either be out of focus, or not even in frame at first, but slowly (and I mean slowly) but surely the picture would start to look a little better and eventually after much running back and forth to the camera I was able to end up with a few shots of myself that I liked.
Portraiture is my absolute favorite genre of photography, especially photographing others
I love being able to photograph people, and show what they look like from my point of view. Most often the reaction is priceless when they see what they look like in a way that's different than they would usually see themselves
Sometimes, the best portraits are the candid ones.
Here's a few shots I took at church, which is probably my favorite place to take pictures.
