Early on I knew my goal was to somehow get something to show up on a large scale onto my wall, and that’s what I defined success as. In other words, a large projection of what was outside my window was what I wanted.
Before going into this I anticipated this would only take maybe 30 minutes for me to get done, but I was quite wrong. It ended up taking me about 3.5 hours from start to finish, with most of that time spent covering my window, which really isn’t a window, rather a sliding glass door. Here’s what the process looked like for me:
I started with cardboard but then quickly realized the card board was letting a lot of light in, so I then started adding tinfoil over the cardboard which really worked in terms of blacking out my room. I ran out of tinfoil before I could finish the bottom of my door, so I ended up using pillows to cover the bottom area.
