Camera Controls and Principal of Design

For my photo assignment I wanted to utilize more dark and rich colors. I ended up using my dining table and my bedroom door which is a barn door. Both are dark browns, with the barn door having some light grey in it. For my still object I chose a personal item. I chose to use these 2 book stopper elephants with 2 books between them. I chose the elephants because they belong to my grandma who loved elephants and when she passed away I able able to keep the elephants and I keep them on display on my office shelf. For my equipment, I used my Sony A7ii with a 50mm f.18 lens and shot the images with f.18, and a tripod to keep the camera still.
