Proposition B
Proposition B includes a replacement Pecos High School Natatorium. Here you can view the site plan and what a PHS Master Plan looks like with the inclusion of Proposition A. Remember, PBTISD can fund ALL PROPOSITIONS while maintaining the current tax rate.
The total for Proposition B is $34,270,000.
PECOS HIGH SCHOOL NATATORIUM REPLACEMENT
Built in 1981, the Pecos High School Natatorium has been home to a successful swimming and diving program and has supported the local PBTISD community through various activities and events. Such as summer swimming lessons, etc. This facility is now over 40 years old and has outlived its useful life cycle. It additionally is not ADA Compliant and has limited space for spectators and coaches.
The PHS Natatorium Replacement will be placed behind the current Natatorium so the swimming and diving team is not disrupted or displaced at any time.
PHS MASTER PLAN WITH PROP A AND PROP B
With a passing of both Proposition A and B, all facilities at Pecos High School will be completely updated for the 21st Century. Here you can see the full master plan that includes the facilities of Prop A and B and the new Career & Technical Education and Science wing!
