Apps 4 Earth

Overview

This activity is designed for you to implement with your Digital Leaders. It compromises your Digital Leaders developing their own App linked to the International Celebration of Earth Day. App ideas should promote positive impact, sustainability and environmental awareness through engaging and practical solutions.

This entails learners developing their own app from initial idea, to paper based resource then onto an online simulation using the Marvel App

I have provided an activity overview, including focus, instructions and challenges. Also included are examples to scaffold learning. Furthermore, I have included a worksheet for learner's planning and a video walkthrough covering key concepts of using the Marvel App

If you have not done so already, I strongly recommend downloading and sharing the PDF below with your Digital Leaders. When taking photos of the paper based apps the sizing is designed to accurately be scaled to fit the designer within Marvel App

Guidance

To run this activity successfully you will need:

1 x Worksheet per pupil – Double Sided (can work in groups if preferred)
