Scholastic ScienceFlix (free trial) - browse by categories or use keywords to find information about different topics in various forms of media including articles, videos and photographs. Auto read-aloud function and autocite are available and you can even choose your reading level and look up words you don’t understand.

Britannica School - a great, user-friendly database. Choose your grade and reading level and see photos, videos, and have each article read to you. Autocite available.
