The Poplar Bluff School District Technology Department works hard to provide a seamless and transparent technology experience for all of our students and staff. We believe technology, when used appropriately, blends seamlessly into our learning environments and allows our main focus to take center stage – teaching and learning.
In partnership with our students, staff, and parents, we support the investment our community makes in educational technology. We believe that technology, used appropriately, has a tremendously positive impact on our students and leads them to become life-long learners. We understand that the investments we make in our students today will have a lasting positive impact on our community and the ever-changing world our students will lead tomorrow.
We strive to provide the best and most secure environment possible for our students to build these foundational skills. To that end, we take the responsibility of storing and processing data seriously. The Poplar Bluff School District aligns its security and privacy policies to nationally recognized standards and strives to maintain the highest levels of data and information security.
We work to support all of the technology used in the Poplar Bluff School District and to keep our equipment and investments in excellent operating condition. Let us know of problems and concerns and we’ll be happy to address your issues together. Our work order system allows faculty and staff members to submit help tickets and receive notifications on the status of their requests. Students are encouraged to visit with their school Help Desk or computer lab instructor for assistance with technical issues.
