Also known as "Demographic Transition," Demographic Change is the phenomenon where a country moves from high birth rates and high death rates, to lower birth and death rates as the country undergoes industrialization.
This process has already happened in most developed countries (and has been ongoing since the Industrial Revolution).
This process is currently happening in developing countries.
