Seminar on the “Role of HR in Shaping & Building Candidate’s Future…..” for the students of T.Y.B.Com, T.Y.BMS & T.Y.B.Com.(B&I) in the Conference Room on 24th February 2024.
Alumna Ms. Gunjal Tandlkar BMS 2018 was invited once again to conduct the lecture only for third year students of B.Com, BMS & B.Com.(B&I) and wherein thirty-nine students attended the same.
The lecture was conducted to make students aware of the importance of HR in an organization/company and how HR is to groom the candidates future in the company
The students received an insight into maintaining healthy and positive relationships with HR to nurture their career growth and the company’s as well.
Sport Event- Indoor Games
on 10th February, 2024
Alumni Association and Sports Committee jointly organized “Sports Event- Indoor Games” on 10th February, 2024 in the College Sports Room for alumni. The games for the competition were Carrom, Chess & Table Tennis
The sports event was a medium for alumni to retrieve old memories of their College days and reconnect with buddies and an opportunity to mingle with faculty members.
The event went smoothly and the alumni reunited with each other and the objectives were accomplished.

Seminar on the “Role of HR in Shaping & Building Candidate’s Future…..” for the students of B.Com, BMS & B.Com.(B&I) on Google Meet on 14th January 2024.
Alumna Ms. Gunjal Tandlkar BMS 2018 was invited to conduct the lecture to make students know the role and the functions of HR and how the association is built between the candidates and HR in any company/organization.
The lecture provided insights about the key roles of HR, how HR helps the candidate to be groomed through mentoring, providing opportunities & recognition in the company and most importantly how HR always tries to build healthy and positive relationships among the candidates to nurture their career growth and of the company’s as well.

The association always tries to allow our alumni to participate in such based on competitions that allow them to showcase their creativity and make them feel happy for their participation.
The alumni decorated the pandals with various eco-friendly materials to make the pandals beautifully. Thus this shows that even after leaving the College how attached they are to be connected with the College
The association appreciates the active participation of the alumni and the winners will be provided an e-certificate.
Alumni Association and Sports Committee jointly organized “Football Tournament” in College Turf wherein 16 (Sixteen) alumni participated in the torunament.
The tournament to gather the football alumni together to play football and to reconnect with fellow batch mates.
The tournament went smooth and the alumni mingled with each other and the objectives were accomplished.

Best Practices of Mitra Niketan Alumni Association
1. Each year alumni working in various fields are invited to conduct Guest lectures to impart knowledge among the students about the current scenario of the corporate market hence this year we invited alumna working in HR to conduct the lecture on HR in Shaping & building Candidate’s Future… the session was very much appreciated as depth knowledge received from the alumna and therefore another session on the same topic was scheduled only third year students of B.Com, BMS & B.Com.(B&I) both the time the students appreciated it very much.
2. Football tournament and Sports event indoor games were organized for alumni to retrieve their old College days, rejoin with buddies and to socialize and develop networks with current students as well.
3. Alumni are involved in providing their valuable feedback on the Curriculum.
4. News You Can Use & Business-related Articles received from Library: Knowledge Resource Centre are posted in all WhatsApp groups of alumni.
5. Alumnus Mr. Shadab Shaikh was invited as a Resource Person for Panel Discussion on Career Advancement to provide insight on Digital Marketing on 9th March, 2024.
6. Alumnus Mr. Arvind Singh & Mr. Rohit Singh were invited to choreograph dance for our current students to perform at College Annual Cultural Day Celebration in the month of February, 2024.
7. Alumnus Mr. Abhishek Sharma was invited as a resource person to conducted a Seminar on Environment and Sustainable Development Goals on 10th February, 2024.
