On-the-job training is crucial in preparing students for the workforce. With OJT, students not only get the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge, skills, and work values in reputable establishments or industries in our country. It is an avenue for applying, enriching, and enhancing the acquired knowledge in the school in their particular field of endeavor. In some cases, OJT leads to employment opportunities, allowing a graduate to hit the ground running early.
The application schedule is set for every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, running from 08:30 AM to 11:30 AM, excluding holidays.
List of Requirements:
a. Most recent copy of Job180 Resume
c. Completely filled out OJT Waiver in triplicate, original copy. (downloadable)
d. Copy of Certificate of Enrollment (COE)
e. Scanned Copy of a valid Government-issued ID
f. Notarial fee (Php200.00)
The CLAIMING or RELEASE of submitted OJT documents is scheduled every MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, and FRIDAY from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, unless otherwise announced due to holidays or suspension of work. All Endorsement Letters must be duly signed by the Program Chairperson prior to submission to the host training company.
Approved documents must be claimed within ten (10) working days from the date of successful application; otherwise, the application shall be deemed canceled and rendered invalid. Please note that unclaimed or canceled applications may not be refundable. Claimants are required to present a valid school ID for verification. Applicants are advised to check the OJT Document Tracker to monitor the status of their OJT documents.
Pre-Training Requirements:
a. Acceptance Form (downloadable)
b. Memorandum of Agreement (downloadable)
(For companies with existing Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), kindly upload the OJT Acceptance Form in the designated MOA field.)
c. Copy of the Endorsement Letter received by the Company Representative
The file should be in PDF form with a maximum file size of 5MB each with a filename format "Document Type - Surname, GivenName". (eg. MOA - Doe, Jane.pdf)
Documents will be uploaded during official working days and hours only (Monday through Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM). Documents sent during weekends, holidays, or after working hours will be processed the next working day. Validation and checking of uploaded documents will take up to 5 working days. b. Job Accomplishment Report (JAR)
c. Exit Internship Evaluation
Upon completion of the Internship/Practicum, answer the Exit Internship Evaluation. Upload the Certificate of Completion and Job Accomplishment Report (JAR) using the link. Submit the ORIGINAL COPY of your OJT Certificate of Completion and Job Accomplishment Report to the Registrar's Office. Validation and checking of uploaded documents will take up to 5 working days.
