Welcome to another day in Google Workspace!
Through the training sessions, Slack support, and Ambassadors, we’re hearing a lot of success stories as you continue to navigate the new ways of work in Google. People are finding new ways to organize Gmail, schedule inside of Google Calendar and discover Google Drive’s collaboration tools with files. We have discovered there are a few items that have given folks a little trouble and the project team is looking into each item. Thank you for your patience as we learn to work in Gmail and Calendar!
Here are some system changes/updates that we have made already:
Slack is now switched to Google SSO to login. You may have been logged out, feel free to log back in with Google and it will add our Slack workspace back into your app.
Tableau is also switched to use Google SSO for login.
Helpful Chrome Extensions
Here are some Chrome extensions that lots of people have found helpful.
Gmail Reverse Conversation - This will put the most recent message in a thread at the top
Gmail App Badge Notification - Will allow you to get a badge notification if you use Gmail as an app from Chrome (Instructions to set it up inside)
