Pathways Noida has a dedicated CAS team to provide the necessary guidance and support to students with regards to CAS. This team comprises of CAS Coordinators, CAS Advisers and CAS Supervisors.
The CAS coordinator is the nominated member of staff who facilitates understanding of CAS and oversees the effective implementation of CAS experiences, working directly with students, staff, CAS advisers and CAS supervisors. CAS coordinators are ultimately responsible for determining whether students have met the CAS learning outcomes at the end of the Diploma Programme. The final CAS interview towards the end of Diploma program is taken by the CAS coordinator. Two key areas of responsibilities for a CAS Coordinator are:
Implementation and advancement of the CAS programme
Works with the CAS students along with CAS team for successful completion of CAS
CAS Adviser is the first contact point for a student with regards to CAS. CAS Adviser ensures that students are aware of the meaning and purpose of CAS programme. They provide ongoing guidance and support to students in identifying goals, developing purposeful reflections and building an understanding of ethical concerns and international mindedness. CAS Adviser monitors student's progress towards meeting the CAS learning outcomes and regularly review their CAS portfolio. The three formal interviews are also taken by the CAS Adviser.
The CAS supervisor assists, offers guidance and oversees the students’ CAS experiences when needed. CAS supervisor provides students with guidance, support and feedback on the CAS experiences, encourages reflection and comments on the student’s engagement with the CAS experience if required. CAS Supervisor is also responsible for student safety and risk management procedures to be followed during a CAS experience.
