Art has been present in my life for as long as I can remember. My grandfather is an artist and one of the most important people in my life. He has always supported all my creative projects even if I didn't end up finishing a lot of them. Having that kind of support only grew my interest in the arts to the point where all of its mediums really fascinate and inspire me. There are many artists that really influence my art, among them are Jackson Pollock, Wassily Kandinsky, Melissa McCracken, and Megan Duncanson.
This is an artwork that was inspired by Wassily Kandinsky's Composition VII and Jackson Pollock's The Key. I created this piece with the viewer's perspective in mind, in a way that would allow anyone to imagine it to be whatever they want. So far, I've had people tell me it looks like musical instruments, organs, and fruits which I find really funny.
This work was inspired by Jackson Pollock's Mural, and it is mainly an organic abstract art piece with a rainbow palette. The creative process was just playing with shapes and fitting them together to compliment each color the best, similar to a jigsaw puzzle.
This work is a combination of two contrasting works, (one of them being Life and Motion) it is intended to portray the creativity and spontaneity inside our minds, which contrasts with our senses of order and organization.
This painting was inspired by red and pink carnations (cravo) and it was originally done using sponges. I have since recreated it digitally.
My absolute favorite artist Melissa McCracken is a synesthetic artist who because of her neurological condition, can see music. This really inspires me to feel the world through different lenses, so for this piece, I decided to just let the music guide me with the shapes and the overall flow of the work. At the time I was mostly listening to Good Intentions by RINI on loop which is the inspiration for this work.
This is a series of works where I was mostly inspired by set color palettes and did a lot of layering. I also experimented with a lot of new texture brushes and I learned a lot through this process. I loved making these, they're my babies.
