During the '19/20 school year I took the lessons I learned from the Inquiry Institute, such using as Ice Balloons, into the classroom and shared this with other team members. We used iced balloons as a way to inspire students to ask questions and learn what questions are investigable and which questions are not.
I've continued to use the lessons learned from the Inquiry Institute as well as begun presenting these lessons to other teachers during the Inquiry Institute, summer 2022.
The opportunity to mentor new science teachers virtually has led me to present about equity in the classroom, a topic that I am passionate about, through Rice University.
