Happy world teachers’ day!

First Private Mathematical Gymnasium /Sofia, Bulgaria/ celebrated 9th May - the Day of Europe, with entertaining educational games. This special program is our school’s initiative for the international Erasmus+ Health for Body project in light of the European year of the youth 2022. With a lot of enthusiasm and creativity our Student council organised this event under the motto “We love Europe”. There were a total of seven games with participants from 8th to 11th grade. The students showed their rich general knowledge by answering questions about Europe and Bulgaria. They had a lot of fun engaging in games resembling the shows “Family wars”, “I love Bulgaria”, “Who wants to Be a Millionaire”, guessed complicated words, the lyrics of Bulgarian songs and celebrities just from their description. Our students transformed into professional show hosts and together with the participants made this experience feel straight out of TV.
Everyone showed their creative thinking, inspiration, knowledge and love for Europe and Bulgaria.
Balvi Vocational and general Education Secondary school has been working hard on Erasmus+ project activities since December: We had a seminar on Healthy Eating habits for our bodies, where we had the following agenda: Food and Products, Eating habits, Food Nutrients, Recommendations.
Lithuanian gymnasium has been working a lot on Erasmus+ project activities since December: We had a seminar on Healthy Eating habits for the community of the school, where we had the following agenda: Food and Products, Eating habits, Food Nutrients, Recommendations. We have also discussed stress and time management techniques during special lessons and this way we have gained more knowledge on how to stay healthy mentally and physically.

On 31st of May Latvian students and teachers organized an exhibition about active, healthy life-style, disseminating the project idea and information.

On 18th May students from First Private Mathematical Gymnasium organized a street exhibition to raise awareness of obesity and the many other diseases on which it impacts. They gave away brochures and leaflets with information on the subject.
On 7th May Bulgarian students organized a seminar on possible injuries during physical activity. Students from three classes attended the seminar and were able to learn how to react if an accident happens.
How we chose our logo?
Every partner country created a few logos. We chose the best one through a survey. The logo made by the Bulgarian students won with 18 from 75 votes and was chosen as our project emblem.
