For many decades, scientists have investigated the relationship between genes and phenotype.
It has been found that 'Environmental factors such as diet, temperature, oxygen levels, humidity, light cycles, and the presence of mutagens can all impact which of an animal's genes are expressed, which ultimately affects the animal's phenotype'.
This dot point is asking you to make a judgement as to the effect of genes and the environment on the expression of phenotype.
ACTIVITIES:
Complete the worksheets to the left of this text box which investigate the effect of the environment and genes on phenotypic expression.
