Blue Wouldn't accept that the queen is unfair as we see when he thinks, “ surely capturing the leafwings and exposing a plot to steal the book of cleatsight would be the greatest gift they could ever give queen wasp. She would have to forgive them for everything else”, so he tried to turn Sundew in which would lead  to both of them being captured and unable to fight back, as we see when he thinks, “Turn her in, turn her in now” if he had accepted that the queen was evil, he would not have tried to turn him and Sundew in. however, when he is captured by the hivewings and put in the flamesilk cavern, he accepts that he needs to do something about the queen and that he and his other silkwings do not deserve to be enslaved. This gives him motivation and causes him to take action and search for an escape witch in turn causes him to find his friends and escape, if he had not taken action, he would not have been able to escape.
