Formerly, we only used a placement test, which was overrun with leaked questions and cheating. This was criticized by competitors, so we have updated our placement system to a multi-step process.

First, take the qualification test. Information on when you can take this test can be found here. This is used to find the top 20 candidates, who will move to the next stage.

They will join our tentative teams, and then, based on progress over the course of about a month, the 2 (or 3) worst contenders will leave the team, and the teams will be assigned. Team One & Captains of other teams must attend at least 10 in-person practices, excluding extreme circumstances.

Occasional changes may be made before the competition.
