August Pullman
August Pullman is the main character. Auggie was born with a severe facial difference. He's shy because of how he looks. And doesn’t have a lot of friends. Doesn’t have much confidence. And He’s used to being alone. The problem is that people judge him by his face before they even meet him. And he has to learn to own who he is. August seems pretty responsible and trustworthy. But he has trust issues from people bullying him.
Via
Via is a high school girl with dark brown hair and blue eyes. She’s very understanding when it comes to August. She doesn’t like how August gets all the attention, but she understands because she’s seen how much August has had to go through because of his face. She knows that August needs attention, she has learned that.
Jack
Jack is a 10 year old boy with brown hair. He’s August’s best friend, but sometimes wants to look cool in front of his friends but the stuff he says to them isn’t always true. He has to learn to not do stuff when students are forcing him. He’s also very caring and likes to make people feel included.
Summer
Summer is a 10 year old girl with dark brown hair. She is another really good friend of August. Pretty smart. Very nice and caring. She doesn’t care what other people think and is very confident. Her friends don't like how she hangs out with August. But she doesn't care.
