Tasked with writing stories using minimal words, students used their creativity to determine a variety of ways to solve this problem.
6th Grade
Using family recipes, scholars wrote short stories featuring the food from their recipes. They then combined those short stories and recipes to layout, edit, and publish a recipe book & short story collection.

6 Inspire scholars used podcasting to share important messages about water. They used their combined knowledge from World Geography, Science, and ELA classes to write and produce a podcast episode on a water topic of choice.

6 Inspire scholars used their knowledge of GRAPES (Geography, Religion, Achievements, Politics, Economy, Social Structure) and applied them to Northeast Middle School.
6th Grade
Scholars participated in the World of 8 Billion student video contest, wherein each scholar researched one of three specific global concerns and their potential solution(s). They then generated a 1 minute video, as per the guidelines and requirements of the competition, detailing what they had learned.
