8th Grade
Bellfontaine Cemetery
Bellfontaine Cemetery
Working within small collaborative groups, 8th graders identified famous and/or influential people, from St. Louis' history, buried in historic Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum. Students were then tasked with researching both the lives of these people and the time period in which they lived.
The project culminated in a visit to this beautiful and historic site wherein students presented their projects about these individuals to their peers.

Within collaborative groups, 7th grade students planned their own field trips for first semester. Group members were responsible for all logistical concerns inherent in a school field trip and presented their ideas before a panel of teachers, administrators, and other students. This was the plan that earned approval in 2026.

On November 21st scholars went to TopGolf for two hours of FUN. TopGolf was a new experience for many and scholars practiced their collaboration, critical thinking, and character skills as they supported each other. The competition was high in many bays and scholars were eager to cheer when someone did well.
