Harry Potter in chapters 1-6 lives in London in 1900 with his aunt and uncle, they had a house in a neighborhood a nice and comfy home for all of them but for Harry, it was not. (The normal world is called the muggle world)

This place is just a medieval place but with magic at all corners and where all the teachers are a master at their part of magic,  each student was given dorms where they sleep and talk with their friends and girls were seprated and boy's to.
