Buses & Going Home

The same behavior is expected of you on the bus, in a cab, or any form of transportation as in school. As soon as you board any district-sponsored transportation, it is the start of your school day and you're expected to adhere to appropriate behavior. You should follow Parkway expectations from the moment you step foot in your bus/cab in the morning to the moment you disembark at home at the end of the day. This is inclusive of if you walk and/or ride a bike to school.

Activity buses will be available on Monday-Thursday and will depart school at 3:45 pm. All students must be supervised by a staff member in order to stay after school.

Athletic buses are provided for you if you stay for after-school athletics. Athletic buses depart daily at 5:30 p.m. from the South Entrance. You may ride the athletic bus only if you are a current athlete.

Guest Riders on Buses: Students may not have guest riders for the athletic/activity buses. In order to receive a bus guest pass for normal transportation, students must have parents email Ms. Lane at alane1@parkwayschools.net the morning of the needed request. All request should be to Ms. Lane by noon on the day that the guest pass is needed.
