AI Pathway 2.0 moves teachers beyond AI literacy to advanced instructional design and efficiency. In partnership with Google and ISTE, AI Pathway 2.0 offers teachers:

• Official Google AI Educator Badges 

• Job-embedded development that creates high-quality instructional assets they can use immediately in their classrooms

• An official pathway towards Gemini Certification for advanced users

• #ParklandPride SWAG Package* upon completion of the pathway

The Google AI Educators Series is built from 10–15 minute snackable & stackable sessions meant to fit into the pockets of an educator’s day. After each session, learners will take a quiz to earn a badge.

There are two ways to complete AI Pathway 2.0 - both of which will earn 6 hours of District Directed PD (6-12):

Option 1: Independent Study Track

Designed for those who want flexibility, teachers complete 16 microcredentials in the time and place that works best for them. To choose this option, Access the Google AI Educators Series here, click on the K-12 filter at the top of the page, and complete 16 of the microcredentials. (Note: Google will be adding a new topic at the beginning of each month. For the purposes of the pathway & hours, any 16 badges will satisfy the requirement)

Option 2: Guided Cohort Track

FALL COHORT: 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27 (ATTEND ALL 4 TO COMPLETE THE PATHWAY) | 3:00 PM-4:00 PM | VIRTUAL

Perfect for educators who value live, collaborative learning, this 4 week series consists of 1-hour academies covering 4 of the microcredentials, and 30 minutes to work independently to complete quizzes and earn badges. To choose this option, sign up for the cohort on CPE Tracker and attend all 4 sessions. 

Getting Credit: At the end of either option, educators will have earned 16 badges. Follow the instructions on the form to submit badges and get hours.

Anyone in grades 6-12 is eligible to complete the pathway for 6 district directed hours, even if you completed the original AI PD Pathway last year.
