Cape Town Eisteddfod Performers β Important InformationΒ
To all our Eisteddfod performers: please take note of your performance time and day, and arrive at least 15 minutes before your slot, seated in the Minor Hall and ready to go.
π Schedule:
Please see the Cape Town Eisteddfod Programme below for your performance day and time..
π» On the Day:
No movement during a performance slot β be respectful of all performers.
Have your music and instrument ready before your turn.
Dress Code: School uniform (both days).
π Academic Sessions:
Performers in the 13:00 and 14:00 sessions are excused from academic Sessions 6 & 7.
π Supporters Welcome!
Family and friends are encouraged to come and enjoy the performances.
Entrance fee: R20 (non-performers), payable by SnapScan or credit card (no cash).
Note: If you leave the venue, youβll need to pay the entrance fee again to re-enter.
π€ Performing for an Adjudicator:
Youβll perform in front of an external adjudicator β itβs normal to feel nervous! Remember, their feedback is to help you grow, not just to evaluate you.
π Feedback & Photos:
Feedback & award (spoken) will follow after each category - please stay.
Please stay until the end of your session for group photographs.
Participating in the Eisteddfod is already an incredible achievement β it takes courage, skill, and dedication. Be proud of how far youβve come!
