Recording Tips

• Record in landscape

• Piano: all keys and candidate fingers need to be visible

• If your learner is playing technical work from a sheet or iPad, this list must be shown to the camera before playing the technical work

• If your learner is playing technical work from memory, there must be no sheet music on the music stand. Add the sheet music when the learner is ready to perform the pieces

• Have recording device on a tripod or music stand to avoid movement during the performance

• Video file may not be bigger than 1GB

• Labelling your video: Learnername_Classical(Instrument)_Grade(number)
