Hello Everyone! 🎶✨
Well done to all our musicians for embracing every opportunity this year — from the exciting Bootcamps in Quarter 1, to your dedication in lessons, ensemble rehearsals, lunchtime concerts, Eisteddfods, Trinity exams, masterclasses, and so much more!
You are guided by some of the most passionate and skilled music educators here at Parklands College. Remember — these are your lessons. Come prepared, curious, and ready to learn. The more questions you ask and the more time you invest in practice, the more you’ll grow. Building musical skill takes patience, repetition, and a willingness to keep showing up — even on the days it feels challenging. That’s where real progress happens.
Congratulations to all our Half Colours, Colours, and Trophy recipients! 🌟
If you’re aiming to see your name on that list next year, start now — review the criteria, set clear goals, and discuss your pathway with your teacher. There’s always another opportunity to shine.
As we head into the final stretch of the year, a friendly reminder that music lessons continue throughout the exam period. Please honour your commitment and your teacher’s time by booking your exam lessons by 30 October. These lessons are scheduled on a first come, first served basis and cannot be rescheduled or reimbursed if missed.
Keep playing, keep practicing, and keep your passion alive — every note you play is a step toward becoming the musician you’re meant to be. Let’s finish the year strong! 🎵
