Read your limerick or poem to your children or grandchildren.
Ask them for their thoughts - what do they like about it? Do they they have any questions? Is there anything they don't understand?
You could then help them write their own poem.
If you have a smartphone or video camera, why not make a short video of you reading your limerick or poem aloud? You can share it with friends and family or on social media using the hashtags #LetsTalkAboutParkinsons, #WorldParkinsonsDay and #PoemsforParkinsons.
Print off 5 copies of your limerick or poem (using our template if you like) and give them to neighbours or colleagues, or stick them to the back of a toilet door, a tree, inside a shop window, or on a wall or noticeboard near you (handy hint - slide them upside down into a plastic sleeve so the rain doesn't get them and follow this handy video). Just make sure you're allowed to put them up in that location before you get into any trouble!
Take a photo of yourself pointing to your limerick on display and send it to the local paper.
Step aside, Bansky!
Get visual with a display or even a mini art installation. Displays or Artworks made from the written word are often very powerful. Print out your Parkinson's limericks on A4 sheets and arrange them in any way you see fit - you might have some upside down for instance. Find out more and download our templates.
If you've only written one or two poems, why not print multiple copies of each? Or get together with others and include their limericks too. Or use some of the fantastic poems that have been shared with us.
Ask your local village hall, community centre, or local gallery if you can display your artwork there. Or how about a library, university or the foyer or your local hospital?
Why not write to your local paper letting them know about Poems for World Parkinson's Day? Include your own limerick to raise awareness among the wider public.
If you're on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media, why not share your finished poem? It's a great way to share your experience of Parkinson's and raise awareness, as well as showing off your poetry skills!
If you tweet or insta your poem please use the hashtags #LetsTalkAboutParkinsons #WorldParkinsonsDay and #PoemsforParkinsons.
Did you know you can upload a recording of yourself reading your poem to BBC Radio Tees and other BBC stations? The broadcaster selects their favourite uploaded items for their weekly listener-generated programme.
Does your town have a town crier? What better way to get your limerick or poem heard than by asking them if they would announce it in the town centre.
The poem that launched a thousand meetings? Why not see if your MP, local council, WI, Rotary, or other group would like to start their meeting with your limerick. Putting a smile on people's face before they get down to business while raising awareness of Parkinson's - perfect!
For something dramatic, you could ask a local theatre group to read out your poem. Online, at an event, or even on stage after a performance - a live performance of your work!
Or how about a poetry reading session? Organise your own or find one in your local area.
Another awareness-raising campaign for World Parkinson's Day 2022 is lighting things up blue. Why not tie your poem in with this?
You could put blue fairy lights around a display of your poems.
If you know someone who works for the emergency services, why not see if they could be filmed reading a poem or two in front of their blue flashing lights?
How does Parkinson's affect others? If you're part of a Parkinson's group, know others affected by the condition, or would like to know what your family think about Parkinson's why not share your poems with each other? You could each print yours out, place them on a table, and take turns to pick one up and read them.
And don't forget you can read all the poems we've received.
Do you love drawing? Why not illustrate your poems and share the illustration alongside it online or printed out.
