There are a few different ways for tourists to get around Paris. First you could take a taxi, the second is public transport. There is a lot of it, it is fairly easy to understand and compared to some countries the cost is pretty good. Thirdly you could hire a car but you have to be at least 21 (sometimes 25), have a credit card and you have to have had your licence for over a year. Driving around Paris probably isn’t the best choice; most hotels do not have garages, parking is difficult (illegally parked cars are towed away) and there are a lot of traffic jams. You can also hire a bike, take a train, bus, metro or just walk.
