Arts Collaboration Process
The Visual Art process for this project consisted of students filling out/recording a log document of their drawing plans for each chapter. There were three assignments that divided the chapters, and the number of drawings - with the drawing medium up to students' choice. A constant throughout the project was that students' art was all based off of inspiration from character/s or scene design.
The images were also posted on the 7th grade page of our Visual Art Show earlier this spring.
In music, during Remote Learning students learned the ins and outs of Soundtrap to create original music for different chapters of The Next Great Paulie Fink .
In Drama, student projects focused on scenes from the novels based off of their studies of The Next Great Paulie Fink in Humanities. Many students collaborated in creative ways by adapting the novel into a script or acting out "interviews" from the novel, and then bringing each scene (including "deleted" scenes) to life through expressive videos and audio.

This project attempted to honor all the workers out there that are providing services to our community. In a bee community, each of the bees plays and important role to guarantee the survival of the hive. In the same way, all our workers out there keep our community going and humming. The creation of a sculptural hive with inspirational drawings are the students' appreciation and awareness of the work they do. Students used cardstock to create their hexagon hives.
