How will my child access his or her school work?

Students can access their work from the Distance Learning Plan section of this google site as well as through the District Website under the "District News" page.

My child has a question about an assignment that is posted. Who should he or she contact and how?

Students should email their teacher directly with any questions about assignments that have been posted on Google Classroom or in the individual teacher's Distance Learning Curriculum Folders.

If my child emails his or her teacher, how quickly should my child expect a response?

Teachers will be working hard to answer any and all questions as quickly as possible during the typical school hours. Students can expect a response within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 24 hours.

Who should we contact if we are having technology-related difficulties?

Who should I call if my child is too ill to complete his or her work during this time period?/How will attendance be taken?

Please utilize your school's typical absence-reporting procedure. (see the Nursing and School Health Services Subpage under the Special Services section for the direct extensions to call to report "an absence"). These calls will be logged for attendance purposes, otherwise students are expected to be completing their daily assignments.

Who should I contact if my child is having social or emotional difficulties during this time period?

The school counselors will still be available to support students. Please see the school counseling section for specific contact information.

What should I do if my child or anyone in my immediate family tests positive for COVID-19?

Please contact your child's school nurse if you or anyone in your family tests positive for COVID-19. Contact information for all of the school nurses can be found on the Nursing and School Health Services subpage of the Special Services section.
