MORE ABOUT UNITY DAY
Unity Day created was in 2011 by PHS Counselor Ariana Bates. Unity Day has hosted thousands of students, parents, and educators over the last ten years at our annual Unity Day event. The vision of Unity Day is to provide 1) Resources for LGBTQ students, allies, families and educators in PUSD, 2) Anti- Bullying, 3) Suicide Prevention, and 4) Wellness Resources. Unity Day includes: workshops, discussion panels, short films, student performers, live music, and the 7 Shades of Peace Awards for exemplary leadership in social justice.
