Find The Right Career For You
All students in grades 8-12 in the Paragould School District will have access to free career assessments and planning tools that can help them choose a career path based on their own interests, aptitudes, and personality traits. Assessments are provided through Launch for Students, which we will use for the Student Success Plan, course requests, records requests, and more. We also offer the ASVAB to students which provides a lot of information about their career aptitude.

For the 2025-26 school year, we plan to schedule several industry visits for CTE students that match their CTE programs. We will also participate in Career Expos and Job Fairs. We will announce these through Google Classroom.Â
Sophomores will have Job Shadow Day, an opportunity to spend time with a professional at work and explore a career the student finds interesting. Whether the student discovers they love it or hate it, it is a valuable experience!
