Why should you choose Sundown for your Esports program?
1) It's free.
2) Build engagement: Gamers want opportunities to play. As a new or established program, you can offer your student-gamers the opportunity to compete right off the bat. Practices are important, but they can become repetitive for players (playing the same person or people over and over can get boring and doesn't always lead to enhanced skills). You can use these events to promote your program and recruit potential players.
3) Good evaluation space: Need to see your players in action to evaluate rosters? Use Sundown as a space for that purpose.
4) Build interest: Want to get Esports started at your school but not yet ready to devote funding to joining AIA? Use Sundown to build interest in the fall and further develop your program so you can start the process of team and roster development in preparation for AIA competition. (NOTE: Spring tournaments are only open to AIA member schools.)
5) Sundown: Voyager is a traveling tournament. If you are interested in hosting a Sundown event at your school, please contact Ryan Stone (ryan.stone@paradisevalley.edu)
6) Collegiate opportunities: Have a player or players who are interested in competing at the collegiate level? Get them prepared through Sundown!
7) All three of the past three state champions in AIA SSBU are regulars. The best in the state meet at Sundown!
