Those pupils who have special educational needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) receive varying forms of additional resources, as do pupils who have additional needs but do not have an EHCP.

The Trust, and each of its schools has a robust and effective anti-bullying policy/approach, including arrangements for ensuring that the views of children are heard. If young people or parents/carers have concerns, they may contact Abbie Thorrington via the school's administrations office.

The school's career leader, Victoria Addis, works closely with all year groups to deliver impartial careers guidance to students.

Victoria works with the students to offer one to one career guidance interviews, group work and presentations. The school invites guests speakers into assemblies, or into classrooms, and arranges different educational visits or external companies to come into the academy.

Our aim is to help students explore the range of opportunities available to them and assist students in identifying the best route for them to take in the future.
