The Tree Hut Treaty by Wiremu Grace.

The Tree Hut Treaty is a children's picture book by Ngā Tauira Whakaari and written by Wiremu Grace. The story follows a group of children who build a tree hut together but soon find themselves in conflict over how it should be used. Disagreements arise, leading to frustration and division. To solve their problems, the children decide to create a treaty—an agreement that sets out fair rules for everyone. Inspired by the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi, the story teaches children about cooperation, respect, and the importance of working together to create fair and inclusive agreements.
