Week 5 Core Activities
Create a poster, either digitally or hard-copy to display around the school. It needs to include a message about looking after our oceans.
Each student to collect at least 5 pieces of plastic this week - found around school, on roads, gardens etc. Create a whole class sculpture with all the plastic.
Focus: Learning about what kauri dieback is and why kauri are important to Aotearoa.
Identifying local trees surrounding our school and how they compare to Tāne Mahuta.
