This will be my fourth year in kindergarten and my tenth year teaching at Wellington Elementary. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2010 and received my masters in Reading Education from Barry University in 2018.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to try new places and new things. I also enjoy curling up with my cat reading a new novel.

I look forward to getting to know all my new kiddos. Kindergarten is becoming my favorite subject to teach because they are like sponges!

I have been an educator for 22 years of which the last 18 have been with Palm Beach County. I have my early childhood degree from Towson University.

When I am not teaching kindergarten superheroes, I am spending time with my husband Tony and our 3 kids: Alec (14), Ayden (11) and Ava (9).

I enjoy working out from home, baking and cooking with my kids, bike rides, traveling and anything Star Wars or Disney related.

I am happy to say that I will be starting my 32nd year teaching. I have taught in Miami and in Palm Beach County. I have taught all grades from K-5.

I just celebrated my 29th wedding anniversary with my sweet husband Jerry. We have a 28-year old son named Jordan. I really enjoy traveling, watching tv, and baking when I am not teaching.

I graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2012. This will be my fifth year in kindergarten and my 6th year teaching at Wellington Elementary.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, trying new restaurants and traveling to new places. I have an English Bulldog named Kona and he loves when I take him to the dog park to play!

I look forward to meeting all of my new students and another successful year in Kindergarten!

My name is Dionne Mitchell and I will be your child’s teacher. This will be my second year teaching at Wellington Elementary as an ESE/EBD teacher.

Some of you already know me. For those who do not, I am happy to welcome you.

I have my Bachelor Degree from Florida Atlantic University.

I was born in Jamaica. I try to go back there every year to visit family and friends.

Some of my favorite things to do:

Traveling, cooking all types of foods, but mostly Jamaican, and spending time with my family and friends. Christmas is my favorite holiday, especially since it is my son’s birthday.
