My husband is a School Police Officer for Palm Beach County Schools. I also hold a real estate license. I have one daughter who has spent time in the Palm Beach County schools. She received a full scholarship to Kennesaw State University for Track and Field and she still holds the in-door record for long jump. Her name is Morgan.

I'm from Brooklyn, New York and have been in Florida for 11 years. I have been an educator in Palm Beach County for 9 years, specifically in a Charter School setting. My experience ranges from grades K-3 with my most recent role as an RTI director. Teaching and being part of making a difference in students lives has been a lifelong passion of mine.
I'm married and have two beautiful children. My daughter Kendall is 8 and my son Kyrie is 3. I enjoy cleaning (yes, cleaning), shopping, and spending time with family.
This is my first year joining the Wildcat family and have so much to learn just like all of you. I look forward to meeting you all. We are in this together!
I am a native Floridian, Miami is my hometown. I attended the University of Florida and have been teaching at Wellington Elementary for 20 years, mostly in the 2nd grade. I love working with children, I was a girl scout leader for 11 years, and involved with boy scouts for 10 years, I even spent several years as a soccer coach.
Both of my children attended Wellington El., Wellington Landings, and Wellington High. My daughter Shannon is a Natural Resource Agent for the University of Florida. My son Sean runs his own business in Denver, Colorado.
My golden retriever Luna has kept me moving through this pandemic. I love to read and travel. I was supposed to make it to Alaska this summer, it would have been my 49th state. Maybe next year, and when I make it to Hawaii I will have traveled to all 50 states, most of North America, Asia, and Europe. I can't wait to travel next summer.
I am looking forward to getting to know everyone. Even though it will be different it will be a great year!
I have been an educator for 16 years. I worked in finance prior to becoming a teacher. Working with children is my passion. This is my first year back teaching second graders. I just completed eight years in first grade. I consider working with children a blessing and feel fortunate to call teaching my career!
My husband of 32 years, Rob works in Digital Banking and I have two adult daughters. Cassie is finishing her graduate degree in Speech Pathology and Alexis works in marketing in Los Angeles. I don't have any pets currently, but am considering getting a dog. I love to read, crochet and volunteer. It's going to be a great year!
I am proud to say this is my 21st year at WES! My husband and I have lived in Wellington for as many years and we are raising our 15-year old in this wonderful community. We just got a new bunny named Miss Maple, so I’m sure my students will hear of her many adventures this year!
I volunteer with various organizations throughout Palm Beach County and I served on the Education Committee for the Village of Wellington for six years. I love traveling, the beach, reading, and trying to keep up my piano playing skills.
I believe in raising children to be productive citizens and guiding them to help others. Living in such a tight-knit community as Wellington allows us to know each others’ children and be positive influences in their lives.
Parents and teachers are partners in the education of their children and I look forward to working with you to make this another great year at WES!
I have been a teacher in Palm Beach County for 19 years. I have taught grades 1-4 and Kindergarten ELL. By far, second grade is my favorite! I love to integrate technology within my classroom which is why I became a Trailblazer (Google Certified Teacher).
My wonderful husband and I have been together since we were teenagers. We have a son, Steven, Jr., that is a sophomore at Park Vista High School. Our daughter Sofia, is a third grader right here at Wellington Elementary. This summer our family grew a little bigger with the addition of Dunkin the Dog. And yes, he is named after my favorite and definitely necessary establishment, Dunkin Donuts!
I love teaching students to challenge themselves. Together we can do hard things!
I have been an educator in Palm Beach County for 16 years. I have taught all subjects in kindergarten through fifth grade, however second grade is one of my favorites. The students are so much fun at this age!
My family is a true Wellington family. My husband works for the Village of Wellington and my two children attend Wellington Landings Middle School. In addition to my family members, I have two rescue dogs that enjoy sleeping on the couch and barking at squirrels.
I believe in "The Power of Yet" and can't wait to share this with your child. Together we will do great things this year!
Mrs. Roland began teaching in the Wellington area 22 years ago. She has taught every grade from preschool through 8th grade Algebra 1; except 3rd and 4th. Math and Science are her favorite subjects!

In my spare time I like to read, sew, bake, and learn about computers. I also love music and art and helping with the school musicals every year.
I can't wait to see what my new friends will accomplish.
