Welcome Parents to 3rd Grade - a year of many of firsts!!
Our team has come together to provide an environment
to ensure each students’ success.
We promise to keep in touch in order to alleviate any stress.
We understand the challenges that each day holds in store.
Under normal circumstances, 3rd grade is the year that always expects more.
As we work together you will see your student grow,
Their independence and knowledge will certainly show.
Our year may have a challenge or two,
However, together we will ALWAYS work them through.
To help you get a head start
I am sending you some tools.
These will help you with our lessons,
And follow classroom rules.
Never hesitate to ask a question or share a single thought,
Our classroom is a safe place to share and to be taught.
You are a special student with many wonderful talents.
Together we will work and create a great balance.
Looking forward to a groundbreaking year!
I have been a Palm Beach County Educator for 22 years. I fell in love with teaching when my youngest son was in the Pre-K Montessori program. After teaching Pre-K Montessori, I was certified in Gifted Education as well as acquiring my certificate for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. I have been teaching Pre-K to third grade, and I really enjoy working with the third grade students.
I’m very proud to say that I have been married to my husband for 42 years with three grown children and five grand children. I am always looking forward to spending time with them.
Welcome students and parents. I am an experienced teacher who has taught in public as well as in private schools in Palm Beach County. This is my 5th year of teaching third grade at Wellington Elementary School. I love learning new things. Encouraging my students to do the same is my goal every day. When I’m not teaching you’ll find me spending time with my family or taking pictures. Please check out our school’s website for school and grade level information. We look forward to seeing you virtually on our first day of school, Monday August 31st.
This is my fourth year at Wellington Elementary School. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education that I earned from Grand Canyon University. I am very passionate about teaching and come from a long line of teachers. My grandfather, mom, dad & sister are all teachers. I have a twenty year old son, named David, who attends Palm Beach State College.
I have been teaching in Palm Beach County for 7 years and truly love working with kids. Reading and Writing are the subjects I like to teach best.
I was born and raised here in Wellington and actually attended Wellington Elementary as a child! When I'm not teaching, I love traveling and making memories with my husband and one-year-old daughter, Madeline.
This is my 19th year in teaching - 14 in Syracuse, New York, and 5 in Palm Beach County. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education and my Master's Degree is in Reading Education. I have taught from pre-k to fifth grade, but third grade is by far my favorite grade to teach!
When I am not in school, I am with my family. My husband, Matt, and I have been enjoying boating since we moved to Florida. Our sons, Grant (15 years old) and Nate (9 years old) also enjoy boating, beach time, swimming, and baseball.
Wellington Elementary School has been my home for over 20 years. I love reading and sharing in the excitement of books with my students.
Prior to teaching I was a court reporter in New York, working in the District Attorney’s Office, and then many years in Family Court. Family Court is the place that influenced my belief in the importance of the home/school connection. We are a team focusing on the success and wellbeing of our children.
My free time is spent with my husband Tony, daughter Pam, and my son Marc (who now lives in New York). We love exercising, gardening, and cooking. Quiet time is spent going on adventures in a great book!!
Hi! I am Miss Williams and this is my 30th year of teaching public school in Palm Beach County. I have taught all of the subjects in grades 2-5.
My favorite thing about teaching is seeing smiling faces of children. I have three children of my own and they are all boys! I also have two dogs and a guinea pig. When I read aloud to my students, I love to use funny voices and make the kids laugh!
I have been a Palm Beach County educator for 9 years and have taught in the intermediate grade levels. I thoroughly enjoy teaching 3rd Grade, as it is such a foundational year for students.
When I am not teaching, you can find me making memories with my husband and two boys. I also enjoy working out and being outdoors.
