Password Protection Lessons

All students in grades 3rd and up will be required to change their passwords this school year.

In anticipation of this event, we have created additional resources for each level for teachers to use to instruct students on how to create strong passwords.

These resources include:

• Primary Grades K-2: A simple, introduction to passwords.

• Intermediate Grades 3-5: A more detailed guide that includes information about creating strong passwords and managing passwords.

• Secondary Grades 6-12: A video and tipsheet that covers all aspects of password security.

We encourage teachers to use these resources to help students learn how to change their passwords and practice good password security.
