"SMART Learning Suite is the all-in-one education software that empowers teachers, sparks student engagement and elevates outcomes."
SLSO is the online (and limited) version of the Smart Notebook.
Teachers use SLSO primarily to launch and monitor activities to their students.
SLSO contains a significant library of Smart activities in various subject areas that teachers have created (using their Smart Notebook) and other teachers can now copy, revise and launch for their own students.
Here is an SLSO activity that I created to model most of the Types of Responses/Assessments and Activities in SLSO.
This is a program that is installed on a Windows or Apple computer (i.e., not a Chromebook).
This program has the full functionalities to create and revise Smart activities.
Powerpoint, Google Slides, PDF, and other formated files can be imported and revised, but much of the original format's functionality is lost (such as animations and multi-object layering).
Completed Smart activities are uploaded from Smart Notebook into the teacher's SLSO account to then be launched to his/her students.
