PERT = Postsecondary Education Readiness Test 

The PERT is a computer-adjusted test 

This means that it will start with relatively easier questions and as you get these correct, it will give you more difficult questions that will earn you higher points.  

It also means that once you have submitted your answer for a question, you are not allowed to go back and check or change your previous answers. 

The PERT has no time limit

Therefore, it is very important that you take your time and ensure each answer you enter is correct so that you will advance to questions that will earn you more points.  

If you have a difficult question do not merely skip over it but try various strategies to eliminate potential answers and do the very best to select the best possible answer.
