Geometry Foundations

Here are essential algebra skills that you will be using often in Geometry. 

If you haven't yet used Khan Academy in this new academic year, log into your District Portal, search for "Khan" and click on the green icon for Khan Academy.  Make sure that the Khan Academy account that you are using is connected to your District email. 

When you follow the links below to Khan Academy, make sure that your name appears at the top right indicating that you are signed into Khan Academy.  If not, then Mr. Evans will not be able to see your work and give you credit for it. 

If you are struggling with a particular problem, then use the hints and videos that Khan provides under each skill.  But you earn more points when you challenge yourself to do it on your own.

Do not cheat yourself and try to deceive Mr. Evans by obtaining the answers without doing your own work. 

Do not use a calculator.  But instead, use a number line to see what direction you are moving. 

And again, do NOT use a calculator.

• Equations with parentheses: decimals & fractions: Once you earn Mastery of this particular skill, your Algebra Test score will be updated to a 100%.
